Please note that Thursday, January 9th, IS a school day for all NCSD students.
While President Biden has declared a National Day of Mourning to honor former President Jimmy Carter, this declaration primarily affects federal employees.
Nevada public schools, including all those in Nye County, will remain in session.
We understand that this may cause confusion, and we appreciate your understanding.
